After 9 whole months of pregnancy, my little man has made his entrance into the world. Between feedings and naps I was doing a bit of reflecting on my pregnancy. Despite Covid being a huge curveball that I couldn’t have planned for, I would say I generally enjoyed my pregnancy experience in Paris from my care providers, the different resources I was able to find, and just the overall adventure of creating new life.

As you all know I love sharing helpful tips that I discover, so I decided to put together a resource guide of the different health care providers I worked with, maternity related blogs, podcasts, youtube channels, and brands that I have discovered during my pregnancy journey in Paris.  Check out what I came across below…

NOTE: As I live north of Paris all my providers were located in the 9th, 17th, 18th, and Saint Ouen

Providers

During my pregnancy I was very intentional about having a holistic team of providers that would complement my standard prenatal care. Below you can find the team of medical professionals I worked with throughout my pregnancy.

  • Maternity Clinic- Clinique Sainte Therese (Private clinic in the 17th where I gave birth)

  • OBGYN- Dr. Majoulet

  • Osteopathe- Ilana Benais (she is the sweetest, specialised in pre and post-natal care, and is full of helpful tips when it comes to suggestion of what to buy for baby that is ideal for your posture and alignment)

  • Osteopathe- Virgina Montel

  • Acupuncturist- Helene Boyé (liked her because she is a trained midwife who also practices acupuncture. She also provided me with homeopathic options to help soften my cervix towards the end of my pregnancy)

  • Midwife- Elodie Delafoy (did all my birth preparation classes with Elodie and she came to the house after the baby was born to check in on us)

  • Postpartum Doula-Sophie of Nourish Paris (provides doula services as well as food delivery for nutritious foods postpartum)

  • Gynécée (new space solely dedicated to pre and postnatal care for women. It is a one shop stop for different providers as well as fitness classes and workshops related to pregnancy)

  • Lactation Specialist- Carole Hervé (Bilingual lactation specialist)
